After a long period of inactivity due to severe limitations due to the pandemic, the PET Pesca UFRA group held, on 05/20/2021, another edition of the PET in Schools project . The activity took place at the Vera Lúcia Educational Institute, located in the Tapanã neighborhood, in Belém, in the state of Pará, with the presence of 12 students, 6 female and 6 male. Project activities started at 7:30 am and ended at 9:00 am. It is noteworthy that distancing and all precautions were collected for the safety of professional and responsible children, following the WHO recommendations.
Therefore, the activities developed by the petians were: Two educational videos prepared by us showing the reuse of PET bottles, a puppet theater was also presented with a story about the importance of protecting beaches, oceans and rivers, and a booklet was made available </ a >, prepared by the PET Pesca group, with educational activities and games about the Amazon aquatic fauna, and with this we promote a small debate with the little ones about the importance of protecting aquatic ecosystems.
Therefore, the PET Pesca group thanks the support of the Educational Institute Vera Lúcia and Professor Nicole Marinho, who helped us and opened the doors, with total confidence in our work.
