The seventeenth version of the Brazilian Congress of Fisheries Engineering, aimed to stimulate and support studies on Fisheries Engineering in the areas of teaching, research and extension, was carried out from November 27 to December 1, 2011, at the Centro de Amazon Conventions and Fairs – Hangar, in Belém – PA.
